Logging into your Virtual Lesson

Where do I see my upcoming schedule or make changes? 

When you are logged into your account, look for Scheduling in the Main Menu options from your Dashboard. This will allow you to see a Weekly or Monthly Schedule. If your lesson is in person, be sure to be on time. If your lesson is a virtual lesson online, you may click on the chat icon, find your teacher's name, and open the chat. Once open, there will be a "Video Call" option displayed there. This is where you can access the link to the virtual lesson. This is also where you can chat with your teacher, ask questions, or receive files. 

How do I cancel or reschedule a lesson?

If you are logged into your account, you can view upcoming lessons through the Scheduling Section of the Main Menu. When you find the appointment you are looking to change, click on it. You will have the choice to cancel the lesson or reschedule within the teacher's available open times. If for any reason you are unable to make changes, please message the teacher or Lesson Administrator inside Teacherzone to make changes. You can also reach out by emailing lessons@bananas.com. 

Where do I access my practice assignments?

If the teacher has assigned specific practice assignments or files during your lesson for you to practice, you may access them from the main Account Dashboard. All files and notes will be stored there for each individual assignment. You may also check off practice assignments when you have completed them and use the practice timer function to track your practice sessions. 

How do I update my billing information in Teacherzone?

When you are logged in, click on your name and look for Payment/Billing in the Profile Main Menu Options. From there, you can Add a New Payment Method or edit the existing payment methods. We accept all major credit card types as well as Bank ACH Draft. 

Can I sync my lesson schedule with my Google Calendar? Yes!

When you are logged into your account via your browser or app, click on your name and look for Preferences in the Profile Main Menu. Here is where you can opt to sync with your Google Calendar. You may also update your timezone (if you live outside California and are attending virtual lessons) as well as add any additional lesson types you may be learning (guitar, bass, piano, etc.)

How do I update my profile information (address, phone number, email, etc.)?

When you are logged into your account, click on your name and look for Profile Information in the Main Menu. Here you can update your contact information. If you are a Parent who has a child taking lessons, you should be able to access their profile as well to update information. If unable, please contact lessons@bananas.com for any changes. 

Can my child log in on their own with their own profile? 

Yes! Your child can have their own login information so that if they have their own mobile device or computer, they can access their schedule, their practice assignments, their practice timer, and communicate with the teacher. You (as the parent on the account) will be able to see all their communications as well as their practice times and assignments. This helps you to ensure that your child is practicing and getting the most out of their lessons!

How do I update what notifications I receive? 

When you are logged in, look for Notification Settings in your Main Menu options. From there, you can choose Email, SMS (text), or both to receive reminders, receipts etc.
