The Universum Guitars factory was founded in the unique town of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Region, Ukraine. 

The decision of building a factory for production of electric guitars was a joint effort of three people: two creative and skilled guitar makers — Vadim Gavrilenko and Dmitry Gavrilenko — who over the 20+ years of making electric musical instruments have earned a great reputation with well-known Ukrainian and foreign guitar players, and Alexander Doroshenko, a design engineer and innovator whose life-long dream has been to put his knowledge to use in making such instruments.

Creating an electric guitar that would be the handcrafted epitome of harmony with nature and every living thing — this in fact was the goal set for the factory’s team and the luthiers that were to achieve that goal with their own hands.
