SOUND ENGINE: Do You Speak Synth?

GAIA 2’s newly developed sound engine puts a never-ending realm of tonal exploration

Under your fingers. Build familiar sounds inspired by past and present synth icons. Then dive into unique phase and shape modulation tools to unleash cutting-edge textures with complex overtones that can’t be expressed with traditional analog synths. Need something more extreme? Just crank the Drive knob in the multimode filter section for even more grit and power. Whatever you desire—from smooth tones reminiscent of vintage synths to edgy, biting leads to sci-fi soundscapes—GAIA 2 can do it.

OSCILLATOR 1: Wavetable

Complementing the basic shapes we all know and love, the wavetable oscillator section in GAIA 2 offers multiple waveforms, and you can jump or morph between them for everything from

dramatic shifts to slowly evolving textures. Adding the wavetable oscillator introduces contrasting textures into the mix, leading to unforeseen and exciting results.

OSCILLATOR 2 & 3: Virtual Analog

GAIA 2 gives you the tools to recreate the most famous analog synths of all time—or craft all-new voices never heard before. Twin virtual analog oscillators provide the building blocks of synthesis, enabling you to conjure past classics with complete authenticity. Or head in the opposite direction and sculpt the tones of the future. Just think about the sound you want and start tweaking to make it come alive.

HANDS-ON CONTROL: Touch the Sound

GAIA 2’s logical workflow makes sound creation fast, easy, and fun. The one-control-per-function panel layout enables instant programming without having to resort to creativity-killing menu diving. And with the streamlined knobs and white anodized aluminum panel, even the look is inspiring. Wait until you see how it glows under stage lighting!

DISPLAY: See the Sound

Positioned front and center, the informative display shows the output audio waveform as well as the path of the Motional Pad’s recorded movement. With just a glance, you’ll instantly grasp what’s happening within the most complex of sounds.

ROLAND MODEL EXPANSIONS: Classical Education

Record in real time, enter steps, and edit on the fly—all without stopping playback.Or tap into the Random Pattern feature to ignite your creative engine with spontaneous musical energy.

Along with note information, the sequencer records your panel movements, including tweaks to the pitch and modulation wheels, knobs, and sliders. External synchronization is also supported via MIDI or USB, enabling you to smoothly change sounds and patterns while staying in sync with a drum machine, DAW, or another device.

EFFECTS: FX Appeal

GAIA 2 comes loaded with classic Roland effects to take your sonic creations to the next level. Color, enhance, and mangle tones with a vast selection of MFX types, from filters, phasers, and distortions to scatter, lo-fi, and more. Add width and dimension with the dedicated Chorus section. Then bring on ambient depth with the diverse Reverb/Delay section, which features a

MOTIONAL PAD: Sound Design in Motion

GAIA 2’s powerful Motional Pad is a dynamic and expressive tool that brings static sounds to life. You can assign nearly any synth or effect parameter to each of the X/Y points, then morph between them by moving a finger on the pad. Shipping items with tubes

Bananas does not warranty tubes in transit. We offer tube removal and individual bubble wrap service for $45 per customer request (for standard amps, more complex amps that take more time may be a higher fee). Customers buying any tube product and having it shipped should understand and realize that Bananas cannot be responsible for damaged tubes from transit. This applies to all new and used products. Certain manufactures offer a tube warranty on their new products as a courtesy, and that is available thru the manufacturer warranty process for all new products where it applies.

    Warranty FAQ

DO I NEED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY?

Most manufacturers limit their warranty periods to keep their product costs competitive. It should come as no surprise that most problems occur after the manufacturer’s warranty is over. If you are like most consumers, you don't want to deal with the inevitable problems surrounding repairs. Who do you call for service? Are they reliable? Is a handyman capable of performing a long lasting, reliable repair on your instrument?

    Ranked #1 Extended Warranty

CPS provides top notch warranty protection for your purchases to ensure life and longevity. This means that they care about you and your product long after your purchase has been made. This warranty offers reliable, hassle-free, comprehensive parts and labor protection for your product.

You Need to Prepare for These Issues Today

Bananas is an Authorized Consumer Priority Service Dealer. This means that they care about you and your products long after the purchase date. You can easily extend your manufacturer's warranty for a possible total of 5 years from the date of purchase.

CPS Warranties Offer Reliable Protection for Your Product

By purchasing a CPS accidental damage plan, you’re guaranteed years of worry free operation from your new product.

Is a CPS Warranty just an extension of the existing manufacturer’s warranty?

Actually, it’s an upgrade to your existing manufacturer’s warranty. A CPS Warranty offers benefits that aren’t offered by manufacturers like accidental damage & free shipping to and from the repair facility.

What’s the difference between a Replacement Plan and Repair Plan?

A Replacement Plan is available for products under $150. If the product fails, you will receive a replacement through Bananas.

A Repair Plan is for products over $150 and offers free repair coverage for your product any time during the life of your warranty. If we can’t fix it, we’ll replace it!

    How am I covered?

For the Replacement Plan, your coverage provides for a one-time replacement of the covered product.

For the Repair Plan, you are covered for a period of up to five years (depending on which plan you purchase). Benefits include parts and labor for required repairs on your product.

When does my warranty coverage start?

Coverage begins on the 31st calendar day from when you purchased your product.

Can I transfer the Protection Plan to a new owner?

Yes! CPS Warranties are transferable between owners.

What if I Need to Return my Product?

If you return your product, Bananas returns the money you paid for the product protection plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, CPS may issue a prorated refund.

Is my product covered if it’s stolen or if I lose it?

Unfortunately the CPS Warranty does not cover lost or stolen products.

    Is there a service fee?

Zero dollar service fee for the Replacement Plans and the Repair Plans.
