While the Boost MKII offers a myriad of useful functions, it's a clean booster pedal at heart. Its straightforward Level knob ranges from unity gain to a healthy +16dB. Placing the Boost MKII in front of your amp or dirt boxes adds saturation and sustain to your signal, while placing it after your preamp and dirt boxes gives you a full-range level increase. Best off all, the Boost MKII doesn't change the tone of anything that comes before it — it's sonically invisible.

Guitarists are always searching for new ways to elevate the sound of their rig. Thanks to its top-shelf input and output buffers, the Vertex Boost MKII will do just that. How can a set of buffers transform a noisy, novice-sounding rig into a quiet, pro-level one? For starters, these buffers condition your rig's entire analog signal path, ensuring optimal input and stable output. They also exhibit an unprecedented level of linearity, while ensuring zero coloration of your signal — even with dozens of stompboxes in your chain. The Boost MKII's input buffer compensates for pickups with different impedances, ensuring that both single-coil- and humbucker-equipped guitars retain every ounce of their tone, while its output buffer tackles arena-sized cable runs like a champ. Got a hissy, interference-prone passive effects loop? Not anymore — the Boost MKII will convert it into a max-quality, whisper-quiet active loop.

CONTROL YOUR VOLUME WITH AN EXTERNAL VOLUME OR EXP PEDAL

On the rear of the Boost MKII, you'll find a 1/8-inch TRS insert. This enables you to control your volume using an external treadle-style pedal. When the Boost MKII is bypassed, your external pedal will behave as a typical volume pedal, sweeping from zero to unity gain. Turn the Boost MKII on, and the treadle-style pedal will sweep from zero to wherever the stompbox's Level knob is set. You connect the treadle-style pedal to the Boost MKII via a 1/8-inch TRS to 1/4-inch TRS (stereo) cable or a 1/8-inch TRS to dual 1/4-inch TS ("Y" insert) cable (sold separately). Best of all, your guitar's signal is completely isolated from the treadle-style pedal, ensuring zero impact on your tone.

Returns

• Any New item (other than as noted below) purchased from Bananas at Large may be returned within 14 days of the invoice date, for a full refund, exchange or credit.
• All Pre-Owned products may be returned in 48 hours.
• All Clearance, “additional mark down”, additionally discounted, “blow out”, “door buster” or otherwise identified as on sale may be returned within 7 days unless otherwise specified.

For online orders, the above return policy begins on the day the items were delivered. We must receive an active tracking number within the specified time.

Bananas must be notified within 24 hours of receiving delivery of any issues that pertain to damage during shipping, missing product or incorrect product.

Original Freight, Packing materials and handling fees are not refundable.

Accidental/Order By Mistake

Due to the multi step process to fully check out a purchase, Bananas At Large does not recognize "Accidental or Ordered By Mistake and want to change payment method" as cancelation or refund reason. Bananas is charged processing fees for the purchase and refund as well as expends staff payroll time to process these. Refund requests for this reason will be denied or negotiated a cancelation fee to cover expenses. Please only check out when truly ready to purchase.

Freight damage policy

If your shipment arrives with visible freight damage (damage that occurred during shipping), please follow these steps within 24 hours of delivery:

• Notify us immediately by emailing [your email address] or contacting customer support.
• Keep all original packaging, including boxes, pallets, foam, and any shipping materials. Do not discard anything.
• Take clear photographs of:
  • The damaged item(s)
  • The exterior and interior of the packaging
  • Any visible damage to the packaging itself
  • The shipping label (if possible)

Prompt reporting is essential. Any delay beyond 24 hours may result in your claim being denied by the shipping carrier, which could prevent us from processing a replacement or refund.

Once we receive your notification and photos, our team will review the claim and guide you through the next steps. We work quickly to resolve freight damage issues so you can get a replacement or resolution as soon as possible.

Important Note: This policy applies only to damage caused during transit by the carrier. Damage caused by improper unpacking, misuse, or after the item has been properly received is not covered under freight damage.

Order online and pick up at any store location FREE of charge. Avoid online shipping charges and shipping time, and in most cases get your order faster. Enjoy the in store pickup convenience and security of knowing that your can easily return the product if it does not suit your needs within our return policy.

   1. Curbside Contactless Pickup: When you arrive at the store location, call us and we will bring your order out to verify your ID, place in your vehicle and you're ready to go!
   2. Pick up In Store: Come into the store, show your ID, and pick up your order.

How does it work?

After you place your order online, the selected store receives your order. Then the merchandise is selected from the store's current inventory and prepared for pick up. If the items are located at another store, there may be a longer wait time as we need to transfer it to the pickup location of your choice. This is all part of our free service. We'll contact you when it's ready and notify you if anything changes. Once your order is ready, you can choose to come into the store to pick up your order OR call us when you arrive and we will provide Contactless Curbside Pickup at your vehicle.

Shipping items with tubes

Bananas does not warranty tubes in transit. We offer tube removal and individual bubble wrap service for $45 per customer request (for standard amps, more complex amps that take more time may be a higher fee). Customers buying any tube product and having it shipped should understand and realize that Bananas cannot be responsible for damaged tubes from transit. This applies to all new and used products. Certain manufactures offer a tube warranty on their new products as a courtesy, and that is available thru the manufacturer warranty process for all new products where it applies.
