Refined Tube Logic Tones

Tube Logic recreates tube circuitry and all its complex interactions at a component level, putting the coveted tone and feel of classic tube amp designs under your fingers. Their approach continues to evolve with refinements to the five amp characters available in previous Katana models, including the iconic high-gain Brown type. The new Pushed character spotlights internal dynamic enhancements with the pleasing touch-responsive gain of a clean combo driven into harmonic saturation. All six amp characters include a selectable variation, giving you 12 distinctive tones to support every musical style.

“Sweet Spot” Sound at Any Volume

As every tube amp lover knows, the sound becomes richer, fuller, and more responsive as you turn up the volume. Unfortunately, it also gets way too loud for many playing situations. An external power attenuator is a common solution, but it can introduce artifacts that color the amp’s tone and feel. The integrated Power Control in Katana Gen 3 delivers the best of all worlds, letting you dial in cranked-amp inspiration with no adverse effect on the sound. Just turn the panel knob to transparently harness the level for everything from live stage playing to daily bedroom jams.

Katana Gen 3 features five simultaneous effect categories loaded with essential selections from the historic BOSS library. Amplify External Modelers

Along with its self-contained operation, Katana-50 Gen 3 is also a great monitor for an external setup such as a direct-to-PA pedalboard. Simply connect to the Power Amp In jack to bypass the Katana preamp and use the reactive Class AB power section to amplify any modeler or external preamp.

Get Connected

Katana-50 Gen 3 includes connectivity to meet every need. Plug in headphones to practice quietly with stereo sound. And record to your favorite music software on computers and mobile devices over USB-C. How does it work?

After you place your order online, the selected store receives your order. Then the merchandise is selected from the store's current inventory and prepared for pick up. If the items are located at another store, there may be a longer wait time as we need to transfer it to the pickup location of your choice. This is all part of our free service. We'll contact you when it's ready and notify you if anything changes. Once your order is ready, you can choose to come into the store to pick up your order OR call us when you arrive and we will provide Contactless Curbside Pickup at your vehicle.

Shipping items with tubes

Bananas does not warranty tubes in transit. We offer tube removal and individual bubble wrap service for $45 per customer request (for standard amps, more complex amps that take more time may be a higher fee). Customers buying any tube product and having it shipped should understand and realize that Bananas cannot be responsible for damaged tubes from transit. This applies to all new and used products. Certain manufactures offer a tube warranty on their new products as a courtesy, and that is available thru the manufacturer warranty process for all new products where it applies.
