Vector is an octave fuzz pedal that allows you to unleash a torrent of raw, harmonically rich distortion, with the added magic of octave-up effects. The circuit is a hybrid of silicon and germanium semiconductors. The tones range from vintage-inspired warm textures to synthy square wave crunchiness.

CONTROLS

• OCTAVE adjusts the amount of upper-octave effect, adding a crisp, crunchy layer to your sound. The effect is strongest on higher notes and is single note focused.
• TONE shapes the high-frequency response after the fuzz circuit, allowing you to balance the sound between brightness and warmth.
• LEVEL sets the output volume of the pedal.
• FUZZ controls the overall fuzz intensity, from subtle grit to unruly, chaotic fuzz.
• WEAR simulates the sound of a dying battery by adjusting the internal voltage between 9V (counterclockwise) and 5V (clockwise). The low voltage causes the transistors to bias incorrectly, producing a more unstable, chaotic lo-fi sound.
• TRUE BYPASS WITH INITIAL STATE SWITCH lets you set the pedal’s startup state using the side switch, determining whether it powers up in bypass or engaged mode.
