The Fender Custom Shop 2023 '66 Stratocaster Deluxe Closet Classic recreates the iconic large-headstock era of mid-60s Stratocasters with authentic aging and player-focused modern upgrades.
This guitar features a lightweight select 2-piece alder body with an offset seam, treated with a Deluxe Closet Classic nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The "Closet Classic" treatment gives it the look of a well-preserved vintage find from the '60s, featuring fine spider-web weather checking without heavy dings or major wear. It combines historical features – like the larger post-CBS headstock – with a comfortable 9.5 in. radius fingerboard and hand-wound pickups for pristine vintage tone and modern playability.
This guitar is in Excellent Condition with COA. A Deluxe Hardshell Case is Included.
