The 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty" (two-pickup configuration) is part of a celebrated late-1980s pivotal comeback era for Gibson, marked by a return to classic vintage aesthetics and high build quality before the formal launch of the Gibson Custom Shop in the early 1990s. This guitar features a high-gloss Ebony finish paired with multi-ply binding on the body and headstock, gold-plated hardware, and mother-of-pearl split-diamond headstock and block fingerboard inlays. While many Les Paul Customs of this era featured three pickups, this two-pickup variant delivers a more traditional control layout and string-bending clearance. Custombucker Pickups are Installed.

This guitar is in Good Condition. There are signs of love and road wear as pictured. A Hardshell Case is Included.
