Origin Effects Cali76 Compact Studio-Grade FET-Style Bass Compressor Pedal (Pre-Owned)
Origin Effects Cali76 Compact Studio-Grade FET-Style Bass Compressor Pedal (Pre-Owned)
The Origin Effects Cali76 Compact Bass is a studio-grade, FET-style bass compressor pedal inspired by the legendary UREI 1176 studio compressor.
The Cali76 Compact Bass brings professional studio compression to your pedalboard, offering ultra-fast response times and a discrete, Class-A analog signal path. It is specifically tailored for low-frequency instruments, allowing low strings to maintain their natural dynamic weight, punch, and girth while tightly controlling higher frequencies to keep slapped and popped notes balanced in the mix.
This pedal is in Very Good Condition.
FEATURES
- Side-Chain High-Pass Filter (HPF): Lets low frequencies pass through with less compression while the compressor acts more aggressively on higher frequencies.
- Dry Blend Control: Enables onboard parallel compression by blending your clean, uncompressed signal with the compressed tone.
- Intuitive Metering: A classic three-color jewel lamp acts as a visual gain reduction indicator (Red for idle/no compression, Orange for active, Yellow for heavy compression).
- 100% Discrete, High-Current, Low-Noise Class-A Analog Signal Path
- Controls: In (Gain/Threshold), Out (Volume/Makeup), Ratio (sweepable settings), Dry Blend, Combined Attack/Release, and Variable Frequency HPF
- Requires a 9V to 18V DC, 2.1mm Center-Negative Power Supply (higher voltage yields increased headroom)
- Current Draw: ~78 mA (at 9V) to 103 mA (at 18V)
- Bypass: High-Impedance Buffered Bypass with Silent Switching
- Tour-Grade, All-Metal/Stainless Steel Enclosure
- Hand Assembled in England
