Vertex SSS Steel String Supreme All-Analog Preamp and Drive Pedal (Pre-Owned)
Vertex SSS Steel String Supreme All-Analog Preamp and Drive Pedal (Pre-Owned)
The Vertex Effects Steel String Supreme (SSS) is an all-analog preamplifier and drive pedal modeled after serial #001 of the legendary Dumble Steel String Singer amplifier.
Designed to capture the "Sparkle, Squish, and Saturation" (SSS) magic associated with legendary players like Stevie Ray Vaughan and John Mayer, this pedal works as an "amp-in-a-box" that can front-end a stage tube amplifier, feed a digital modeler, or run straight into a cab simulator/IR loader. Below 1:00 on the gain knob, it functions as a fat, touch-sensitive clean boost with D-style midrange shaping; above 1:00, it introduces natural tube-like harmonic saturation and rich overdrive.
This pedal is in Excellent Condition.
